Borough of Cliffside Park Municipal Court
The Cliffside Park Municipal Court is located in the Municipal Complex. The court tries misdemeanor criminal cases and traffic matters. Non-DWI cases are typically heard Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM. DWI cases are typically handled on Tuesdays evenings as needed. The Violations Bureau handles payment of traffic tickets. The court staff can be contacted directly for assistance on simple questions and routine matters.
Cliffside Park Municipal Court Charges
The Borough of Cliffside Park Municipal Court handles criminal matters, traffic cases and matters involving alleged violation of borough ordinances. Charges can range from suspended license and driving uninsured, to drug charges, city ordinance offenses, assault, and petty theft. On average, the court deals with about 65 disorderly persons complaints and over 200 traffic citations and DWI charges each month.
